Class Rules:
Consequences:
Students are issued a verbal or visual warning to correct their behavior, along with a point deduction on Class Dojo. If behavior continues, or behavior escalates, a behavior reflection form will be filled out and sent home. If behavior is serious or continues, a parent email and/or phone call will occur.
Homework:
50 minute block of time to refine skills and practice learning at home. If finished with assignments, students are checking their work, adding evidence to their responses or working from the following list:
Zearn – reviewing daily math lessons
Quizlet – practicing states and capitals
DEAR – reading an appropriate AR book – 20 minutes minimum each night
Homework is assigned Monday – Thursday. Students are responsible for recording daily homework in their personal planner (supplied by Noddin). Please check over their homework that it is complete to the best of their ability and sign the planning sheet.
Absences:
Students will be responsible for any work missed during an absence. It is up to the student to request assignments missed and to return them in the appropriate time. Having the responsibility in the hands of the student is a great lesson in accountability.
- Be Productive by: completing your class work, staying on task, finishing your assigned work in the time given and following directions.
- Be Kind by: being respectful, showing compassion, being unselfish, being generous, offering to help, appreciating others, and being a good partner.
- Be Safe by: making wise choices, respecting yourself, and respecting others.
